At 9:34 p.m. Monday, a DeLand Police officer initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle on Plymouth Avenue. The car pulled into the parking lot for Florida Hospital and the officer discovered an 18-year-old male with a gunshot wound. The injuries appear to be non-life threatening.
