An arrest has been made in this case. Rosa Flores, (10/10/1963) was taken into custody on 3/17/17 and charged with Leaving the Scene of a Crash with Serious Injury.

POLICE SEEK DRIVER IN HIT-AND-RUN ACCIDENT

DeLand Police are seeking information on a hit-and-run accident that left a woman injured.

Officers responded at 8:15 a.m. Friday to near the intersection of South Florida and West Hubbard avenues after witnesses found a woman in the roadway after she had apparently been hit by a vehicle. Shortly before the woman was found, witnesses say they saw a vehicle traveling eastbound on Hubbard before hearing a loud crash.

The woman suffered a head injury and is being taken to Halifax Health Medical Center in Daytona Beach.

Based on information at the scene police believe the woman was hit by a bluish-green Toyota driven by a woman. The vehicle likely has front-end damage.
