UPDATE   7/14/17 - 3:55 p.m.

The Port Orange Police Department obtained an arrest warrant late yesterday for Gregory W. Ozoniak (DOB 08/06/1963), the suspect in the robbery of Regions Bank. At approximately 3:00 p.m. today, Ozoniak was located and arrested by the Daytona Beach Police Department. Ozoniak is charged with robbery without a firearm or weapon.

REGIONS BANK ON DUNLAWTON AVENUE ROBBED 

The Port Orange Police Department is currently investigating a bank robbery at the Port Orange branch of Regions Bank.

At approximately 9:50 a.m., the Port Orange Police Department was dispatched to Regions Bank, located at 607 Dunlawton Ave., in reference to a robbery. A short time earlier, a white male who appears to be approximately 50 years of age with short dark hair and wearing a green t-shirt and blue jean shorts, entered the bank and demanded an undisclosed amount of money.  The suspect left the area on foot and his current whereabouts are unknown. There are no reported injuries related to this incident.
