POLICE LOOKING FOR MISSING 78-YEAR-OLD PORT ORANGE MAN

Richard Rosell was safely located by Stuart Police Department on 9/12/2017 at approximately 11:30 pm. Arrangements are being made to ensure his safe return home.

Today at approximately 7:56 p.m. Port Orange Police responded to 277 Poinciana Ave for a report of a missing elderly male. The male, Richard Rosell (white male 78 years old) was last seen at approximately 3:00 p.m. today. Rosell left his residence driving a maroon Toyota Camry bearing Florida tag Y1SSE. Rosell is wearing a blue or black hat, blue shirt, jean shorts, white shoes and has a cane with him. Rosell’s destination is unknown. Rosell has been diagnosed with dementia. Rosell’s vehicle was captured on a traffic camera traveling westbound on LPGA Blvd in Daytona Beach, Florida at 3:47 p.m. today. Rosell has been entered as missing with a Silver Alert activation completed through FDLE.
