PORT ORANGE POLICE LOOKING FOR 80-YEAR-OLD MAN

On 12/19/17 at approximately 10:16 p.m. Port Orange Police received a report of a missing elderly male from 73 Maple in the Wood. The male, James Connery (white male 80 years old) was last seen at approximately 6:00 a.m. on 12/19/17. Connery is believed to have left his residence driving a gold 2006 Dodge Caravan bearing Florida tag 007PQV. Connery was last seen wearing a red button-down shirt, white shorts, and a New York Giants ball cap. Connery’s destination is unknown. Connery is believed to suffer from early stages of dementia. Connery’s credit card was used at a Citgo station at 1415 Eudora RD, Mt Dora, FL at 9:50 p.m. on 12/19/17. Connery has been entered into FCIC as missing with a Silver Alert activation completed through FDLE.
