MOTORCYCLIST KILLED IN LATE NIGHT CRASH

On February 23, 2018 at approximately 10:12 PM the Port Orange Police Department responded to the 4800 Block of Clyde Morris Blvd. Port Orange, reference to single motorcycle crash.  It appears the driver was traveling north bound on Clyde Morris Blvd. striking the curb and losing control.  The driver of the motorcycle was transported to Halifax Hospital as a trauma alert. 

The name of the driver is not being released at this time. 

This incident remains under investigation.  The Port Orange Police Department request that anyone with information concerning this incident to contact the Police Department at 386-506-5801 or the Traffic Homicide Team at 386-506-5840.
