UPDATE: John Patrick Timmons, 40, of DeLand, who was reported missing March 16, has been safely located. Thank you to all who have been on the lookout!

ORIGINAL NEWS RELEASE - March 16, 2018

Volusia County sheriff's deputies are looking for a 40-year-old DeLand man who has been missing since around 4:30 a.m.

John Patrick Timmons was last seen in the area near S.R. 11 and Glenwood Road north of DeLand. He was on foot, possibly wearing a long-sleeved button-up shirt, dark pants and white sneakers. He does not have a vehicle. 

Timmons is about 5'9" with blue eyes and brown hair. He has a partially removed tattoo of a basketball on his right forearm, and John 3 tattooed on his right shoulder.

Timmons is considered endangered as he's believed to be without medications he needs. Anyone who sees him or has information about his whereabouts is asked to contact the Sheriff's Office at 911 or 386-248-1777.
