VCSO Seeks Suspect in Armed Carjacking in Deltona

VCSO SEEKS SUSPECT IN ARMED CARJACKING IN DELTONA 

Detectives were called to a Deltona home Saturday, Jan., 27, at 3:04 p.m. after a victim reported his 2016 red Corvette was carjacked by an armed suspect.

The victim had gone to a Hospice thrift store in Orange City and was confronted by the suspect upon returning home to 1324 Star Court. The suspect put a gun to the victim’s head and demanded the keys to the Corvette. The vehicle was soon located backed in at an apartment complex at 909 Enterprise Cove Ave., Orange City, about a half-mile from the thrift store. The driver had left the scene. Crime Scene detectives processed the vehicle and returned it to the victim.

The armed suspect is described as a black male, 6 feet tall, thin build weighing 130-140 pounds, wearing a black hoodie and black pants.
