ARMED SUSPECTS ATTEMPT TO ROB DELTONA CONVENIENCE STORE

Two armed, masked suspects attempted to rob a convenience store in Deltona on Tuesday night, and Volusia County sheriff’s investigators were working to track them down.

Deputies responded to a call around 8:44 p.m. at the Sunrise Food Mart at 900 Deltona Blvd., where they learned two male suspects with handguns came into the store demanding money. They were unable to get any cash and were last seen leaving the store on foot. No one was injured in the incident.
