Ms. Byron has been located (1100 block of 10th Street) and is in good condition.

DEPUTIES SEARCHING ORANGE CITY AREA FOR MISSING 79-YEAR-OLD WOMAN

The Volusia County Sheriff's Office is asking for help from the public and news media in locating a missing 79-year-old woman who is believed to be on foot in the Orange City area.

Marjorie Byron went missing earlier this evening from a house on the 1200 block of 8th Street. 

Ms. Byron was last seen around 4:30 p.m., and she was noticed missing around 8:30 p.m. She was last seen wearing a blue thermal shirt and red pants. 

She's been known to frequent Valentine Park and the bike/jogging trail near Blue Spring State Park. 

Ms. Byron has some memory issues, may be disoriented and may not be able to describe where she lives. She is about 5 foot 2 with short white hair.
