VCSO Investigating After Human Remains Located In Osteen

VCSO INVESTIGATING AFTER HUMAN REMAINS LOCATED IN OSTEEN

The Volusia County Sheriff's Office is investigating after human remains were discovered Sunday morning in Osteen.

Deputies responded to the property at 1875 Oak View Farms Road after a 9:37 a.m. call from a person who was mowing the grass and discovered the remains.

The deceased person has not been identified. Sheriff's Office Major Case Unit will be investigating and working to establish his or her identity. No further information is available at this time.
