A Silver Alert has been issued and the Volusia County Sheriff's Office is seeking the public's help in locating a missing 78-year-old woman who has been battling memory issues and may have gotten lost while traveling in the Orange City area.

Dorothy Cobb was last seen around 5:30 p.m. at the Little Sammie's gas station on the 2100 block of South Volusia Avenue, Orange City. She was driving her sister's silver 2000 Lincoln Town Car with Florida tag 806-PYQ.

Ms. Cobb's photo is attached. She has gray hair and blue eyes, but it's unknown what she's wearing. She does take medication that she doesn't have with her. Anyone who sees her or has information about her whereabouts is asked to call 911.
