VCSO Investigates Fatal Shooting in Deltona, May Be Accidental

MAN, 26, DIES OF POSSIBLE ACCIDENTAL SHOOTING IN DELTONA

 26-year-old male resident was reportedly inspecting a small handgun at home when he suffered a gunshot wound to the head. The victim died shortly afterward at the scene.

Three friends of the victim were present in the home when the shooting occurred. Detectives are interviewing witnesses and say the incident appears to be an accidental, self-inflicted shooting.  

The case is currently an active investigation. More information will be released when it becomes available.
