UPDATED: Missing Deltona Woman Found Alive And Well In Tiger Bay State Forest

Update: Early this morning, members of the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office East Side Detective Unit resumed the search for Nikki Shriver and found her in Tiger Bay State Forest.

Shriver was taken to Halifax Health Medical Center in Daytona Beach for evaluation, but no major injuries were evident.

She was found around 5:26 a.m. after detectives returned to the woods near the area where Shriver went missing and turned on their sirens. Shriver came out from a wooded area about a mile south of the location where her vehicle was stuck.

VCSO SEARCHING FOR MISSING DELTONA WOMAN

A Deltona woman is missing after her vehicle became stuck in the Tiger Bay Wildlife Management area near Daytona Beach.

Just after 1 p.m. today, rescue officers from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) found the vehicle, but 30-year-old Nikki Shriver is still missing.

Shriver (DOB: 9/2/87) was driving a tan 1997 Toyota pickup in the area of 595 Gopher Ridge Road and Old DeLand Road. 

Searchers from the Volusia County Sheriff's Office and FWC are searching for her.

Shriver was last seen wearing a blue shirt and blue jeans. She is 5'0'' to 5'2" tall, and her photo is attached. She may be experiencing some level of hearing impairment. Anyone who sees her or has information about her whereabouts is asked to call 911.
