UPDATE 12/26: Mr. Barthel was located around 6 a.m. today in Daytona Beach in good condition. 

DEPUTIES LOOKING FOR MISSING ORANGE CITY MAN

Volusia County sheriff’s deputies are seeking the public’s help in locating a missing Orange City man who hasn’t been seen since late last night.

Charles L. Barthel, 35, was last seen around 11 p.m. Christmas Eve at the assisted living facility where he lives at 223 E. Gardenia Ave., Orange City. 

Barthel, who’s about 6’2” and 200 pounds, was last seen wearing a blue/gray flannel shirt, blue jeans and tan shoes.
