DELTONA GAS STATION ROBBED

Volusia County sheriff’s detectives are investigating the early-morning robbery of a Deltona gas station.

No one was injured in the robbery at 3:55 a.m. Saturday at the Cumberland Farms station at 1251 Providence Blvd. The suspect was described as a black male (5’8” to 5’10” and 170-180 pounds) wearing a black shirt, black jacket and red sweatpants, with a white shirt covering most of his face.

The suspect shoved two employees behind the counter and made movements suggesting he had a weapon before he took cash from the register and left.

Tips submitted through Crime Stoppers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $5,000.
