VCSO Arrests Deltona Man, 30, On 7 Counts of Possessing Child Pornography 

Volusia County sheriff’s detectives have arrested a Deltona man and charged him with seven counts of possessing child pornography.

Charles Eveland Price, 30 (DOB 3/3/1988) of 2961 E. Waco Dr., Deltona, was arrested Tuesday. He is charged with possessing photos depicting sexual performance of a child.

Detectives with the VCSO’s Child Exploitation Unit began investigating Price in December 2018. On Jan. 24, 2019, a search warrant was executed at his residence. Detectives seized multiple electronic items for forensic examination and interviewed Price. Images located in Price’s possession portrayed girls between 4 and 10 years old in sexually explicit situations.

On Tuesday, an arrest warrant was issued for Price. He was taken into custody and transported to the Volusia County Branch Jail. He is being held on $70,000 bail.

More charges are possible as detectives search for any additional potential victims of sexual exploitation. Anyone who may have been a victim of this suspect or any similar case is urged to call the Child Exploitation Unit at (386) 323-3574.
