UPDATE: Happy to report missing woman Meagan Rose Danahy has been found safe tonight.

VCSO SEARCHING FOR SUICIDAL WOMAN, 32, MISSING FROM DELTONA

The Volusia County Sheriff’s Office needs your help to locate a woman who made suicidal statements Friday after attempting to jump out of a moving vehicle in Deltona.

Meagan Rose Danahy, 32 (DOB 02/23/1987) exited her boyfriend’s vehicle at the intersection of Courtland and Fort Smith boulevards Friday afternoon. She made statements to her boyfriend and to family members that she wanted to end her life.

She has been staying in woods at an unknown location in Daytona Beach.

Danahy was last seen wearing light-colored pajama pants, a light-colored short-sleeved T-shirt and pink flip flops.

She is described as a white female, 5’7’’ tall, weighing 130-150 pounds, with brown hair and eyes.

Please help us locate her. Anyone who knows of her whereabouts is asked to call 911 immediately, regarding case # 19-9049.
