Coronavirus Closures: Volusia County Government Offices Now Doing Business Online And By Appointment
Date Added: April 03, 2020 3:00 pm
Attention residents visiting our offices:
To help slow the spread of the coronavirus, Volusia County Government has closed/limited access to government buildings.
The Thomas C. Kelly Administration Center in DeLand, where our administrative offices are on the 4th floor, is locked, and the doors are only being opened by appointment.
We're still here working. One of the main public functions based here on the 4th floor is the processing of public records requests. Our Records unit is still here to respond to your requests.
The best way to submit a request is to use our website, volusiasheriff.org. Click the Reports tab from our home page, and you'll be directed to our new Records portal, which allows you to request any record you need, and also provides a list of answers to frequently asked questions.
If you need to visit our administrative offices in DeLand in person, please call us in advance to make an appointment. The phone number here is 386-736-5961.
Our district offices are all still in operation, but public access to the lobbies is restricted. If you come to any district office to file a report or speak with a deputy, please give us a call and we will send someone out front to meet you.
