DELTONA WOMAN KILLED IN ROLLOVER CRASH

A Deltona woman was killed in a rollover crash on Howland Boulevard this weekend after she lost control of her vehicle and hit two parked vehicles.

Deputies responded to the crash shortly before 3 a.m. Saturday at Howland and Amboy Street. It was determined the driver, 41-year-old Kathy Duran, was traveling south on Howland in a 2012 Nissan Murano when she lost control, left the road and hit two unoccupied vehicles parked in a driveway. The SUV rolled over and came to rest upside down in the front yard of 1921 Howland Blvd. The driver was not wearing a seatbelt.

Duran was pronounced deceased on scene. The Sheriff’s Office is conducting a thorough investigation into the crash.
