Holly Hill Man Arrested Again On Child Porn Charges

Deputies have arrested a Holly Hill man on multiple counts of possession of child pornography and other illegal materials.

David Von Oesen, 52 (DOB 9/9/1971), was arrested Thursday morning following execution of a search warrant at his apartment at 449 3rd St., Holly Hill.

Detectives determined Von Oesen was disguising himself as a child on different social media platforms and soliciting children for nude photographs.

The defendant has a criminal history in Lake County that includes charges of lewd or lascivious molestation of a disabled child and solicitation of child pornography.

On Thursday, he was taken into custody on 19 counts of possession of child pornography and 7 counts of possession of photos depicting sexual acts with animals. He was transported to the Volusia County Branch Jail, where he's being held without bond.

An investigation by the VSO Child Exploitation Unit is ongoing and additional charges are possible.
