The unit continued to work on the active Traffic Homicide Investigation from Haulover Blvd. The unit also assisted the victim's family with traffic control for a candlelight procession that resulted in more than 200 motorcyclists arriving to pay their respects at the accident site.

In addition, the unit worked traffic enforcement, traffic crashes and traffic complaint areas, resulting in the following:

D4 CST responded to District 6 to assist with a suspicious incident. While enroute, D4 CST located the missing female and turned her over to District 6 deputies.

On scene at the suspicious incident, D4 CST observed narcotics in plain view of Rafael Cruz's pickup truck and placed him under arrest.

The unit responded to a Traffic Homicide Investigation at the intersection of Haulover Blvd. and Surf Drive involving a motorcycle and a sedan.

The motorcycle rider was pronounced deceased on the scene. The shift was consumed with the investigation.

Units responded to the intersection in reference to a fatal vehicle accident. V1 was traveling south on Haulover Blvd. on his Honda motorcycle when O1 pulled his sedan into the intersection from a stop sign.

V1 struck the driver's side of O1 in a T-bone-style collision, resulting in the death of V1. The THI unit and CSU unit responded to investigate the accident. The case is active to the THI unit for further investigation.

R1 arrived at the storage unit to try and locate V1 as she spoke to him on 7/14/2024 and he advised he was going there. When V2 arrived, she observed V1 deceased inside with a GSW to the chest. ISS responded and weekend WC was made aware.

V1 and D1 were in a verbal argument over how D1 spoke to V1's children. The altercation turned physical when D1 pushed V1 onto the bed and put his hands around her neck, restricting her breathing. V1 tried to call 911 for help and D1 slapped the phone out of her hand. V1 was able to escape and grabbed a firearm from her room, holding it by her side, and demanded D1 to leave. V1 called 911 for help and D1 was located down the street from the LOI and taken into custody. Case is CBA.

D1 came home intoxicated and began a verbal altercation with V1. D1 pushed V1 and V2 observed this, making him get in between them. D1 then pushed V2 into a bush, causing lacerations. D1 then began to chase V2 around until he was able to get into a car with V1 and leave the scene to contact LEO for assistance. D1 was taken into custody and charged accordingly.
